I just picked up Barbara's computer. Pray for it, it really, really needs an exorcism!

That's sad!   It sure would be nice if someone could invent a way to trace the virus to the one who sent it and that person could have criminal charges brought against them.  And their punishment would be to have to buy the person a brand new computer of their choice.

I'll be praying!

Hi    Stormy, thanks for praying for my computer. Prayers just take care of everything doesn't  it!  Glad to hear that Stacy if better.  School will soon be out (I can't wait") and maybe you can come to see us. I sure miss the 4 of you. Friends should last forever, but I know that is not in the real world.  Been seeing a lot about Ala. in the news, bad weather, etc.. Hope you all have not had any. i didn't think it was ever going to get warm and now that it has, i hate it. Had my 1st flat tire Friday, been driving for 59 yrs. so guess that it isn't to bad.  Randall told me to go buy a new car  (like we could) but I talked him into just a tire.  it was much less expensive.  Now that I have got that behind me, can't wait for the next first.  It is really hard having to take all the responsibility for all the things he has always done.  No one knows better than you about that I'm sure.  It is a different when spouses become unable to continue their full role in our lives but that is part of the life process, I just thought he would always be around to do the things he had always done. Now I am leading a whole new life, including Elijah which is a distraction from my every day problems and even though he brings me a lot of extra work, he gives me unconditional love and really helps me a lot (especially when it comes to remembering what we are going to do next).  God knows best and it is hard, but I believe it was meant to be.  Give us a little run down on Cain and Bethany, I know we miss them so much also.  I will close this out , don't think we are supposed to write Books! Love U very much.

Hey Barbs Babe!  So glad to hear from you.  I miss you too.  I seem to be the only one who is not adjusting to this move we made.  You need a passport to come here.  Bethany is doing good in school and has made friends, Cain has a girlfriend and Stacey......well, he's a little more adaptable to change than I am.  And don't you worry your pretty little head, you and I will be friends forever.  Yes, we have been getting stormy weather.  That's what happens when you live in tornado alley.  We have had 2 storms that had hail.  The first one was marble size hail and the second was golf ball size hail.  We have had uprooted trees.  But so far we have been blessed and have not had a tornado come through, although there has been rotation in the clouds.  We have a storm house and we do use it.  This time of the year is really bad for tornados.  I have the movie Twister and Bethany won't let me watch it because everytime I do it comes up a cloud, LOL.  I watched it the other day while she was at school and when she got home she got mad at me.  Well, I know all about having to adjust to a different life. It is not easy no matter what you do.  You may find out that you have emotions you never knew you had.  And that there are different levels of these emotions.  In my situation I have felt abandoned, that God turned His back and even that He did not care at all.  And what people neglect to tell you during their "words of encouragement" is that these feelings are normal and it is part of the cycle of what you are going through.  Moving back here in a small town where everybody knows everybody and they think they are suppose to know everybody's business, I have had to hit the highlights of Stacey's illness and the aftermath of it and I have found that there are two types of people: those who live in "Fairyland" and those who live in "Reality".  The ones living in Fairyland say "God does not let bad things happen to people and everything happens for a reason and only good things will come out of this. And I just smile and nod.  The ones who live in Reality know that God Is in control and that he Does let bad things happen and only He knows the reason why.  Some people tell me "just keep your faith and everything is going to be alright".  Before Stacey got sick I considered myself a strong christian. I had a lot of faith.  I always prayed and thanked God for my health and for my family's health.  I always prayed and asked God to keep us healthy and never let any of us get a disease.  And I did not worry about it because I prayed and asked God and I had faith and believed that we would never get sick.  Guess what?  Stacey and Jackie were having a good life.  They were doing good financially, they had a good strong marriage, they had their health, they had good jobs that they both loved, they had two wonderful kids and they were happy.  Then guess what?  Stacey got sick and  everything that was good was now not good.  I don't believe that God decided one day that he was just going to rock Stacey and Jackie's world and turn it upside down.  I do believe that we will never know in this life why all of this happened.  Sometimes I wonder if He decided to just break the mold and start over with us.  He Is God.  He can do whatever He wants to.  I have learned that I can ask God for whatever I want but He is only going to give me what He wants me to have.  I am also careful about what I ask for because I might get it but not how I want it.  I still love God and I will serve Him until  I draw my last breath.  Barbs Babe I don't think it matters if we write a book or not.  I am just glad you are here.  I sure do love you and miss you a whole bunch.  When you least expect it I will surprise you.  Until then take care of you!

Jackie,

Thanks for taking the time to fill us in on how things are going there in AL, what everyone is doing,  what you have learned, and your faith to remain true no matter what.

Barbara was a bit down with her health the last couple of days, but according to Mary she is doing better.

Say hey to everyone - Kurt

Good Morning Everyone!  Hope this day finds you all doing well.  I just wanted to drop a line or two to say Hi and to let you all know I was thinking about you and that I miss you very much!

Please keep us in your prayers.  Stacey has applied for more jobs than we can count.  He applied for one at a community college as a teacher.  We are praying that he gets that one.  It would be the least stressful one.

Love you all and hope you have a Great Week!

Lots of Love,   Jackie
